Welland Biopower Limited operates as a dedicated Special Purpose Company established with the purpose of developing a wood-waste-to-energy plant in Worcestershire, United Kingdom. This project processes approximately 60,000 tonnes of dry wood waste feedstock, sourced locally through Welland Waste Management Limited, a waste timber processing entity. The conversion of this feedstock into electricity is achieved through the utilization of Nexterra Systems Corp.'s proprietary gasification technology.

The clean electricity generated is seamlessly integrated into the national grid, delivering sustainable power to more than 17,000 households in the UK on an annual basis. Furthermore, this initiative is anticipated to yield an annual reduction of 28,809 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, making a contribution to environmental sustainability.
