Megalim (Plot B) power plant executed under a B.O.T (built, operate, transfer) framework, encompassing the development and operation of a 121 MW concentrated solar power (CSP) tower-design electricity generation facility located in Israel's Negev Desert.

The construction of the project was undertaken by General Electric (GE), utilizing proprietary technology developed by BrightSource Energy, a leading provider of tower CSP facilities. The project has started its operation in 2019.

The project contributes significantly to sustainable energy solutions, providing power to satisfy the electricity requirements of over 120,000 homes. Additionally, the project preventing approximately 110,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually throughout its operational life.
